Papi Chulo’s: The next “tambayan” in the South

Nachos (P230) is undeniably my favorite snack paired it with soda or beer and that’s how my typical chill night should have to be. Papi Chulo’s nachos was somehow new to me, it’s my first time to see a nachos with a poached egg on top. It made the toppings creamier and interesting as well.

I love kilawin especially if it was neatly prepared, we had Tuna Aguachile (P210) fresh tuna, aguacile lime marinade, onions, peanuts, cucumber and sweet soy.

Elote (P185), the most typical bar chow or snacks of Mexican. This time it’s more cheesier instead of the usual spicy elotes that I have tried. The corn was perfectly cooked!

If you’re craving for something heavy at Papi Chulo’s get their rice dishes. We had the Chipotle Pork Belly (P245), the meat was tender and juicy, I prefer my onions to be  little bit smaller than the meat. It comes with cilantro rice that will surely make you full afterwards.

Papi Chulo’s tacos in served in a soft tacos with either grilled  or fried meat seasoned with spicy dressings and with pico de gallo. Below are some choices for the tacos and its ingredients. Every taco has its own flavors and texture but I will give five stars for the Chicharon Bulaklak Taco, crunchy and addicting.

Fried chicharon bulaklak, pickled cucumber, pico de gallo with sweet soy

The famous Mango Pana Cotta (P130) was extra ordinary because of the chamoy, it has a little kick of spice that blends well with the sweetness and creaminess of the base.

Papi Chulo’s is open until 1AM, an open bar can cater to your late night gimmick with your friends. They have Tequila, Whiskey, Beer or even Margarita Slush.

No doubt that the simple and laid back vibes of Papi Chulo’s in Bf Homes Parañaque will be your next “tambayan” in the South.
