Royal Indian Curry House is a 5-storey building located at Poblacion, Makati City. It’s just near the A venue Hotel. I’ve never been to any restaurants that is big as this one, they have dining room, jeepney bar and even billiard rooms. Everything that you’ll be needing for a quick escape/chillax, R.I.C.H can provide.
I’m not familiar with other Indian dishes that we tried but so far I liked it. Some are unique and very appetizing!
Masala Papad is like a big fried taco chip with tomatoes, onions and cilantro on top. Crispy and addicting for an appetizer.
Samosa is the fried dumpling version of Indians, it is filled with potatoes and peas. We had Kachumber Salad composed of onion, tomato, cucumber salad tossed with indian spices and herbs, something new for me for a salad!
We had our rice served in palayok. Mutton Hyberabadi Biryani, a mouth watering dish with chunks of mutton (lamb meat). Royal Indian Curry House menu is free from any pork products usually their dish are perfect for vegetarians.
We paired our Biryani with Chicken Malai Tikka. It’s a melt in your mouth creamy chicken. I love how simple the dish is, yet full of flavors. They have other available spices like chili or tamarind sauce that can goes well with any of the dish.
Another dish that we paired with our rice is the Mutton Rogan Josh, its aroma is enticing they used lamb meat again for this dish. The curry powder is just right for my taste bud, I added some chili to make it a little spicier.
If you’re a yogurt lover better try their Mango Lassi, it has the richness of yogurt mixed with the sweetness of riped mango.
Gulab Jamun, these tiny spongecake balls soaked in a sweet syrup is one of their desserts. I’m a sucker for anything sweet so we’re match-made! I heard they also have belly dancer every saturday, you don’t need to travel all the way to India to have a blast of authentic Indian cuisines, R.I.C.H is just located in Makati.
